OK guys you have talked me into buying the 91" Cap.
I want to know the PERFECT engine for this plane, I have a ZDZ 80 twin and BME 110, but have been looking hard at the new 3W 80i for this plane.
What do you guys think that have and are flying one?
Thanks for any info.

Since you already own the 110 I would use that. It is the lightest of all the engines you mentioned, a little over kill but what the heck that is what the left stick is for.
I do not fly this cap, but I do know that lighter is better, always.

3w75 side carb? ZDZ-80 or 3w80xi will be a lot of power but good choices. Brison 4.2 would seem to be ideal, or FPE 4.2.
BME-110 is too much power and I think it's too wide.
Another good choice is the Evolution 58 with a canister muffler system. Quiet, powerful. I was hopeful we'd have seen a DA-75 by now, but nothing yet from Tucson, DA's galactic headquarters.
I don't know if there is a perfect engine.

Just to add my .02, I would go with a 3W or DA. You'll have a good, powerful engine and if you need service, you can always call Bobby at Cactus Aviation or Gerhard at Aircraft International or someone from DA and talk to a real person that can help.
