I just received a call from a fellow who was one of the judges at this weekend's IMAC competition in Tulsa Oklahoma. He said that Dan Bierly was 2nd in intermediate with one of our new Extra 300 41% planes.
Dan has been seen in here, he was one of the testers of the prototype set of planes. He also works for Zivko, the people who make the full scale Edges.
Congratulations to Dan, job well done. Also the fellow who called got to fly Dan's plane and was calling to order his own new Extra 300.
I've been telling people don't fly it unless you are able to buy it because you will want one for sure.

Hey guys,
Wow! word travels fast. There was a lot of buzz at the contest about my plane. Like I told everyone. This plane flies so much better than I do. I know I would not have done as well at this contest without it.
Everyone could not belive the quality and the price but everyone was even more impressed when they saw it fly. You better get your orders in fast because as soon as these things start making there way around the country and people start seeing them in person the sales are going to go nuts for Tom.
Thanks for the great plane Tom!

One other thing. There was no doubt about this thing being light when I had a dead stick. In the Intermediate sequence the second to the last maneuver is a spin. My idle was too low and it died. I am used to it beeing pretty quiet being that I run cans. I pulled out of the spin heading away from me, I was much further out than normal to begin with. I didn't realize I was dead stick until about half way through the 90 degree roller. At this point I am way out there. All I could think was just make sure you don't hit any fences or trees because you are not making it back. Well, I actually landed long. Myself, my caller, and a bunch of folks there were amazed at how the thing glides. Had I been flying a normal distance out I think I could have scored the roller AND got it back.

I did not mean to overshadow your accomplishment, I just didn't know that you had won.
Again, nice job!

No problem Tom, this was my first win, I will be moving up next season..LOL
I hope you have a lot of 41% planes on the way. From the talk I heard In tulsa you are going to sell a bunch. By the way what is the cost on the ARC version?
