Default Anyone Flying the 33% Edge?

I do not see much on the 33% Edge. I am curious if anyone is flying this and how they have liked it. I have a Gen I QQ Yak that I am looking to maybe sell except for the motor and components and put it is something else. It is set up with a DA-100 and 8611's all around.

Thanks for any info on the Edge flying.

Im a superintendent right now for a construction company. I am driving around the Freightliner long van that has at least a near 6' roof. Its got some nice pickup for its size.

I am mainly from Boca to Port St. Lucie but I am also in Miami and Weston a lot. Most of our jobs are a little farther out west. PM me and I'll shoot you my number if you want to link up or whatever. I am moving the planes into a new warehouse about 15 mins from the house.

When I was younger I dated a girl who's father worked for North American. Man loading and unloading is some hard work. I can only imagine how that musuem must be as that place is huge!!! Checkout that sound feature across the way from the musuem. Its set in down town lauderdale and riverfront.

The Los Olas and Riverfront area of Lauderdale is very nice and very happening. Lots of eye candy; exotic cars, houses, and women

Wow!! I'll be back up around Portland around the 3rd week of August. You ought to tell them some of the background of that picture!

Mark and I met up a week ago out here in sunny CA. He's some real good kind of people. If the handle wasn't already taken I'd be calling you "Too Tall" Ya'll gotta have alot of respect for the people in those rigs. They spend an awful lot of time away from home to make sure we all have what we need and want. Thank you Mark, and to all the others out there doing the same thing.

I'm going to have to catch up with you somewhere when I go back up that way. I be staying in Hood River for a few weeks and have not taken planes with me cuz I did not know where the local flying fields were located. There's no way to make it up there for the Frestyle Championships, tho[&o]

OK, getting back to the whole EDGE subject, is it going to be a new color scheme or is it going to be the same as the 260? I really think it needs to be a new scheme

The planes are in stock and have the same scheme as the 260.

Silversurfer, they call Hood River wind city, the Columbua has been known as wind river and they claim HR is the wind surfing capital of something. HR may be to windy to be a good place to fly. The field I fly at is about 35 miles east of Hood River on the Washington side, cross at "The Btidge of the Gods" and go down hwy 14 to Washougal. If your intrested let me know.

I'll be back up that way in a few weeks. I work over on the Bingen, WA side and we do odds and ends out east a ways so meeting back towards the middle should not be a problem. I'll send you a PM with some numbers and addys and we can yak a bit on that side.

One thing's for sure, if you like to spend a lot of money on anything HR is the place to go. One very pricey place to reside or play. With luck there will be a new toy going back up with me if there's a place to fly it

Thanks,
Pat

I think it might be cheaper for Tom to ship it. I cant imagine dead heading all the way down here with like two planes in the back.
