Control linkage question.
I’ve got a question about the control linkages on the W-H Yak I'm building. I always was told to make sure the pivot point of the control horn and linkage was at the hinge line. Not so on the W-H Extra I bought second-hand and has 300+ flights. Some are behind the hinge line, some are in front. Even the WH-supplied hardware for the Yak puts the pivot point far in front of the hinge line.
What is the best practice for this?

RE: Control linkage question.
The instructions for the hardware kit tell you how to shorten the horns so they aligh with the hinge line.
It's only really important on the rudder, the others aren't really critical in this area.
