Info on the 35% Sukhoi?
So I'm browsing through my latest issue of MA and come across the WH ad and notice the Sukhoi and come here to find not much info on it. Is there some info on it somewhere? A guy at the field had one of the baby edges and it looked really nice. I've been looking around at 35%ers and I'm looking for something a little different than the YAK and I've got a 260 already (H9 brand). My purchase time frame is probably Mid to late Jan 07 (just around the corner really) Are these going to be ready by then? Also what is the 3d capability on the Sukhoi, I like precision/IMAC stuff but I'm also wanting more and more 3d capability as I learn more. I'm also interested in the MX2 but it looks like from the posts that it's been put off a while at least until after the Sukhoi is out. How about a price, ballpark even? And some specs to make sure it will fit in the truck? I also like that red bull scheme what would the price for that one be?
Sorry for all the questions, but I gotta know!
Thanks!!

You gotta be kidding me!! Look a little further here in the thread titles and you should come across one titled something like; Wild Hare Sukhoi, ready to fly.
If you can't find everything and anything you need in that I'm in some deep trouble. There's nothing on the website yet because as a rule planes don't get on it until they are in the warehouse or in transit from the manufacturer. They also need time to have all the pictures prepared, descriptions to be developed, and uploaded to the site by the person administering the site.
Truly, there is a wealth of information about the Sukhoi in the thread mentioned.

If you wannt to know about the 3D capabilities of the Sukhoi, find your way over to the Down _on __ the__ Deck. Check out the videos. The guy doesn't show any precision flying but if you are interested in hovering, well he makes it do that Very well.

RE: Info on the 35% Sukhoi?
Tom and gang, saw the sukhoi flying this weekend at the DOD fly-in, video should be coming soon. It was Kevin Elders from Houston. Kyle "Alien" Woyshnis was putting on a demo with this plane and the 41% WH extra, and I have never, ever seen the things that Kyle was doing with that Sukhoi, it was incredible to see how he could fly it. The BME 115 on the front of it was new and pulled it like a ragdoll, I will post a link to the video when its available in the next few days.

RE: Info on the 35% Sukhoi?
That's pretty much what I was trying to relate in the Sukhoi ready to fly thread. It's a 35% plane that thinks it's a 40% plane and flys accordingly. I still say that I have not ever flown a better plane, and once it's abilities become common knowledge it will become hard to obtain because everyone will be wanting one. The 115 is the perfect match for it because it drops the end all up weight by about two pounds over anything else available. The 3W-106 would be my second choice for the plane because of the high power output over the DA 100.
