This required info has probably been up before but here goes anyway,I have recently purchased a 28% WildHare Extra 84". Plane is all together and looks a treat, but I was wondering about the balance point. Book says 3 and a half inches to 4 inches, from the front of the leading edge, for those who are flying the Wild Hare Extra where did you end up with the balance point, and did you balance upside down,or right way up,being a mid wing.

I balanced mine right side up and started out with the balance point a little towards the nose heavy side. I also checked the balance laterally and it was really close so no lead needed on a wingtip. The plane flew well on the first flight and was indeed nose heavy as indicated by flying a 45 degree inverted upline. After the first couple of flights I found my sweet spot and used the batteries to secure final balance.

I found the 28% 300 to be a treat to fly balanced at 3-1/2 aft of the leading edge at the wing tip. It doesn't mater which way the plane is oriented as long as it balances at the 3-1/2 to 4" point. How it's held doesn't matter. It's only a personal comfort thing.
