Attached are some pictures of a new Oklahoma/North Texas version of my Wild Hare Extra Seaplane conversion. 40 days and 40 nights of rain pretty much dictated this move. Haven't really run this by Tom yet but have you seen his flying field? As to how it flys, well it's a "real floater"! (yea, yea I know). The plane was working really well with a Sponge Bob tail float till my Grandson made me give it back so now I am open to suggesions as to a replacement. I plan on converting my 35% Sukhoi next and am looking into a Nemo theme for that one.

I think Igot mine from TBM. Mine is not a perfect match as it is about 2-3 incbhes narrower than the stock ones. I orginally had Kavan tires and PSP axles on it. The combination along with the carbon wing tube from WH let me lose almost a full pound.

Make your own langing gear! It's much cheaper and you can make multiple ones once you use the original aluminum for the mold.
Here's a on the "How to" about carbon manufacturing.

Very nice gear build. What type of resin are you using? Are you laying down something like was paper for a release agent on the mold before the first layer of material. And finally are you laying up the mateial wet on wet or is each layer allowed to dry before the next.
Thanks,
