Tom/others,
I had a deadstick at a low level 3d manuever [X(]and the sukhoi ended up pancaking in. Amazing, only thing is it REALLY panacked the gear after breaking the support brace (tough plane!). Anyway, I was wondering if you (Wildhare) or if not, knew of some, aftermarket fiberglass or carbon gear for this plane?
Thanks
Z

I'm sorry, I do not, but we have new aluminum gears in stock.
Consider this. The strap breaking and the gear bending absorbed a lot of the energy which is one reason there was not a lot of damage to the plane. A CF gear would likely have transferred much of the crash energy to the structure causing more damage.

Agree.
I will order some gear from you I guess it would be Tuesday? Also, just noticed that one of the aluminum L brackets that act as gear block support is a bit twisted, do you have one of those?
Thanks
Mike
