About 10 to 12 ounces more than the average with a DA, or about 6 ounces more than one with a 3mm. It really depends a lot on how you set one up. Someone could set up a v2 Edge with a G-62 lighter than someone set one up with a DA if the DA person was into multiple batteries, power expanders, and liked to add wood where it wasn't needed.

Bottom line is that the G-62 wou;ld be a good engine selection even if it is slightly heavier than some others. Go for it. You'll have plenty of power!
