Default 28% extra 260

i am considering making this my first 50cc bird i just have a couple questions about it. i have a 6 foot bed pickup and a shell ideally i would like to have the plane completely inside the shell to protect it from transportation damage. so i would like to know what the dimensions would be from rudder to cowl when it is sitting on its wheels also what the height of the landing gear is because i had a thought of building a tail support that would tip the plane on its nose so that i would fit. thanks for your time

It may sound stupid, but I'll have to check the bed length on my truck.... (Bought it new in 02, and it's paid off.... still don't know if it's 6 or 7' LOL!)
I have the same plane, only last years model- (the 300) but I believe the main dimensional changes were the wingspan, and the canopy- (feel free to pitch in here anytime Tom ) All I had to do, was to remove the spinner only- ( 1 bolt) and the plane fit in with little room to spare, but it fit! Diagonally, it will fit in there no problem, as if I recall it is 78" from front of cowl to the back of the rudder. of course the wings will fit in the cab of the truck or the bed, but they are light and will most certainly blow out. BTW- DON'T HESITATE!!!! You'll love it as your first! the 300 was my first, and the hype (mostly from self) was overrated about how difficult it is- after you get over the butterflies, you will get into the "butter", as it is just as smooth as butter! AND, you'll get pretty damn good support and "question answering" when you do decide to pull the trigger. In fact, I bought just about everything that I needed to complete it right from Tom, and he even asked, "do you need this, or that?" which reminded me that I needed those things- if it's your first, you're bound to forget all sorts of odds and ends, and in my experience,he was happy to help, and suggest the things that would be needed- also, worth noting- He was conscious of my budget, and helped me choose the correct servos, without just saying that I needed the "best" all the way around. this lost him a few bucks, but got him a return customer! You have to think of all sides you know?
Anyway- a VERY long answer to a short question! GOOD LUCK, and when you get the Wild Hare, just jump onto these forums if you have ANY questions- there are tons of people that will be more than happy to help you into GIANTS!
