control horns - hole size? binding?
I am starting to mess with the Rocket city (or whatever) control
horns that come with the hardware kit. The kit has 6/32" button head screws and lock nuts to be used as pins in the horns, but the 1/8" holes in the rocket city horns are extremly tight on the 6/32" bolts. A #29 drill bit seems to be a good choice for the holes, tight, but not binding. Am I missing something here? I have never seen this mentioned befor? Another alternitive is to just run a 6/32 tap down the pin holes... this may be a better solution since the 6/32" bolts have no shoulder for the plastic to ride on.... the pivot point will be riding on threads as it stands now? |

Yes, you are missing the instructions for the horns, or you didn't read them.
