Hello
I have a YS 63 which has had around 2 and a half gallons of fuel through it and runs very well. The only downside is that it uses 9 oz of fuel in 8 minutes!
Is this normal ? I am using Yamada mix 20/20 from Model Technics, a OS 4 stroke plug and an APC 13 x 6 prop and the standard muffler.
I thought I saw that they were supposed to use 1/2 an oz per minute.
This time of 8 mins is not all full power as I unable to fly full power for long as the plane is very light and this engine is very powerfull.
No real problem but I will have to think about putting a larger ( lot larger) tank to get any kind of flight time, and I,m a bit pushed for space as it is.
Many thanks for any feedback Rodders
