YS 91 idle problem
#1
Sorry it is long
Hello Dave, I been having problems with my engine since I bought it from Central Hobbies January last year (I think), I even sent the engine for service as recommended by you and still have the same problem, won't hold idle, I was able to make it run almost fine but after 3 or 4 min flight it dies at idle, OS F , Wildcat 20/20, APC 15x4W.
I received the third muffler today ( the two previous ones separated in flight the second after 5 flights) , so I tried some things in the engine because I didn't wanted to open it while under warranty, the regulator is OK and so is the carb, whoever I found that there is no fuel supply to the carb when the regulator is flush and the engine did not wanted to start, opened the reg and leaked fuel from carb but it ran, it seems like the engine is quiting because it is not receiving any fuel at idle, when I usually feel this in the air I advance the throttle and in runs again, everything else above idle is perfect.
Why should I do?, I'm really frustrated with this engine.
Thanks for your help and patience

I'll send it on monday again, but one question, I read in an old post that when the engine is at idle if you pull the blue hose that come with the engine it should keep running, is this true?, if so, how does the fuel gets to the carb?
Thanks again!!
Thanks again!!

Not true. If you idle the engine slowly enough, the engine will revert to suction and the regulator will cease to put out fuel. At 2000 rpm, the engine will idle on suction rather than depend on pressure through the regulator.

Ok, but then, the only way to get fuel to the carb is only through the blue hose and nothing internal, which verifies that my engine has a problem, is this correct?
Thanks
