My New DZ will be here in a couple days :~)))
In the past I have hand started my other 4-strokes including my saito 180's, wearing a welding glove, pull the prop through till it Bumps with glow igniter on it ( Holding on to it tight) then flip prop backwards and we have ignition.
Is it possible to start the DZ in the same maner ? (by hand)
or should I be using a starter with this particular eng?
TIA
Jeff

The fuel system in all YS engines requires that they be started with an electric starter. You cannot spin the engine fast enough by hand to make fuel reach the engine.
