Two things:
1. The new YS .63 is awesome! Easy to set and stong! You should see your work load reduced here once more of them get out.
2. YS Performance is awesome...I sent an older YS .63FZ out on monday...the following thursday I got a call that it was repaired and ready to be sent back. Now if I could just get our car mechanic to be as efficient with Cust Service!
Quick Question: The problem with the above engine was rusted bearings...even though I burn the fuel out at the end of each flying day. I stored it for about three months (no after run oil) and the bearings rusted. I have a quart of Morgan Cool Power synthetic oil (not fuel). Will it work as an after run oil?
Thanks
Gordon

Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the kind words, we really do appreciate it!
The synthetic oil doesn't work well as an after run oil. In your humid climate it is very tough to keep the rust from happening. I don't know if you've tried our YS compatible after run oil, but you can buy it online at www.pspec.com
It may help.
Good flying,
Dave

If you already have a rust problem, there really isn't anything available that will fix it. You have to start with a rust free engine in order to keep it that way.

Down the carb hole is best. Be sure to pull the glow plug before running the engine again and spin it with your starter to blow the excess out of the engine. Otherwise you might lock it up and possibly bend something.

OK...the big test...my other YS .63FZs ran great until I put a cowl on them (even with plenty of venting). My new YS 63S did great with the same cowl...the heating proble is gone!
