I just got my 110 back from service, because it would not hold an idle. They replaced the cylinder head, because it was leaking. When I called to check on the engine they were running it while I was talking to them on the phone. It was idling fine. They told me it was idling about 2000rpms. Dave I reinstalled the engine in my plane the engine starts easier. I followed the instuctions again. I havent touched the regulator. It idles at about 2500 anything lower and it dies it also surges a little bit when Idling. I really dont want to send it back in to the service department. It runs fine otherwise. Im going to check for leaks in the fuel lines tommorow. Im running sig 30% heli with 24%oil. Im also going to switch to wildcat 30% heli tommorow and see if that helps. When the plane is running on the bench at idle, Soon as I pick it up and set it on the ground it dies and is hard to start. When I try to restart it, it runs backwards and quits. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

It's probably too lean on the regulator setting. I keep telling them that test running at our altitude (4800 ft.) will cause all the settings to be too lean, but they think they know better.
Turn the regulator screw counter-clockwise 1 turn and try again. Also go to the running instructions at www.ysperformance.com and follow them if you haven't already.
Let me know.
