Why is it so difficult to get this engine anymore? Is demand outstripping supply? Every time I try to order a FZ110, it goes on back order for weeks, only to be told that the expected shipment has been cancelled. I realize that this engine has become very popular recently.
Any news on production shipments? Rumor control?

The YS factory cannot meet the demand of this very popular engine (nor any of the rest of their line), and the problem will always persist since the factory is small and has no intention of getting any bigger.

Unfortunately we are caught in the middle being the importer into the largest market for YS engines in the world, so we get the angry customers. We receive about half the engines we order, and it has been that way since we became the importer in 2000.

If you want one, order it and be prepared to wait. Our next shipment is due in June.

Maybe you'll be lucky enough to get one.
