Dave,
I am putting a YS 110 into a new Funtana 90. I have the hole cut out in the cowl for the engine head to stick out the bottom, but have done nothing yet for the muffler. As it is, I will have to remove a lot more material for the muffler. My question is could I shorten the threaded pipe that holds the muffler on, or would this affect performance? By shortening it, I would have to remove much less of the cowl. Also, I am new to YS engines, but I know that Saito's can run with straight pipes on them. Is this an option for YS's?
Thanks!
