Default Metal dust.

Dave, got a little problem, experienced good run and transition, but on a low idle, down line or after idleing on the strip, my 110 FZ experiences a long, dogged out, spool up. Adjusted my rocker clearance 1-1/2 gallons ago, so I thought it was time for another adjustment. Pulled the valve cover and noticed that the coating of oil on the inside of the cover had metal dust in it. Please advise. Joe

Not good. My guess is that something is slowly coming apart in the engine. Hard to say what, but I'd get it in for a look by service asap.
