I was wondering what the situation on the availability of the YS 110 FZ is, last i heard they were going to be here in July. Any more info.
My dealer orders them from Great planes. He placed the order in December and is told that he is getting them with their next shipment.

We shipped in April, and will ship again next week. If you don't have one on order somewhere, you will probably not get one as we are only getting half of the order we were expecting.

Thanks for the info. My order was placed in January by my local hobby store through great planes and great planes have informed him that he is getting one FZ 110 with the current shipment.
Does the engine come with a check valve or do i have to purchase one.

It comes with the check valve.

My local hobby shop dealer just called Great planes today the 18 of july and he was told they are expecting them next week and he is suppose to be getting one. Does it really take two weeks to get to them.

By the time they put them into their inventory, maybe. They will be receiving them tomorrow, one week from the day we shipped, so your dealer may have it by next week.

Well looks like i did not get my 1.10 this time round, so how many months before the next order comes through

Just got back from my holidays and i just came back from my dealer and he still hadn't heard anything from Great planes so we called great planes and they told us we were getting our engine in October so i told them what happened to the july shipment.
At first they said they did not receive any then after telling them i was in touch with ys their story changed and they said they only received 30 engines and i am still number 57 on the back order. I placed the order with them on feb 08th. They have been telling us we were going to get ours with the current shipment in July.

You can understand my fustration could you please tell me how many engines did they receive??
I am going to china and hongkong for three weeks i am going to try my luck there do you know of any shops which stock YS engines

The number they received is confidential info that I am not at liberty to give you. YS 110 engines are in very short supply everywhere in the world and that situation will not change in the foreseeable future.

If you buy an engine overseas, bear in mind that any warranty service that might need to be performed on it will not be done at our facility, but will have to be done in the location where the engine was purchased.

I would love to purchase the engine from here but i have no other choice. i am not even guaranteed one in october. Do you know of any stores that carry then in asia.

You wont believe it this morning i got a call from my LOS and he told me after talking to the manager at great planes yesterday they are going to ship me one of the engines. I am so thrilled to receive it the only thing is i am going to be out of town when it comes but all i can say is thanks for all the info you provided me i cant wait to install it on my ZEN 90

it seems they pulled one off a big order of someone elses or you secretly sent one to them.

The ZEN 90 comes with a pretty strong fuel tank do i still need to replace it with Dubro or some other one.

The tank might be ok, but the problem could be with weak stopper. Try bench running it if you can.
