Dave,
My Edge airframe should be here soon and the build will start, YS 140 sport for power. We talked before about a 17X8 or 18X6 APC. I'm finding out that the 17X8 is not a problem although there is a difference the pattern and N blade. The 18X6 has been replaced by a 18X6 wideblade. There is also apparently a difference between the pattern and sport propellers if you can find them. Would using the wideblade in this scenario IMAC and Precision aerobatics be a problem? Special spinner cuts will be neccesary, so your advice would be appreciated.
I would appreciate your advice on the fuel tank plumbing, would you recommend large or medium sized fuel fittings and lines for the 140. Thanks...

I really can't advise you on this one, as you have to be the judge of what is going to work properly for YOU.
I would start with 16x10 or 17x8 and go from there.

Last time I saw him he was doing fine and I gave him a set of those decals that you sent to me with your compliments. After that I had him tell me that story you told me about
. I have not been to the field for a few weeks due to some health related, now resolved issues. Hoping to get out there this Friday or next Monday. I'll let you know how he is when I see him again.

Dave,
Saw that old man today and he is doing just fine. He was flying his GP Lil Tony with a Magnum 91 4S (You can read him the riot act on that deal). Told him he needed to get those decals on the Stearman, so we could send you a photo via e-mail. He told me that he would drop you a thank you e-mail shortly. He agreed to help me get the new 140 up and running as soon as the plane gets here and the build if finished. I'm not quite sure if that will be a help or more of a hinderance, I think that you know what I mean

I'll let you take care of that[sm=surprised.gif][sm=surprised.gif]. I was thinking about letting him try my 110FZ in the Lil Toni, but you know. I wonder how he is going to get outta this one[sm=lol.gif]!!

Dave,
Do you think an APC 17x6 would be too little of a prop for this engine? Also, do you think the sport could hover and perform pretty good on a 12.5 to 13 pound Ultimate?
On another note, I love my 63S. Once I got it dialed in, it's unbeleivable. Just love those YS engines...

Ben,
The 17x6 should be fine. Try to keep the engine in the 8500 to 9000 range for hovering and fun fly stuff.
Hovering at 12 to 13 pounds is probably not going to happen at your altitude except at very close to full throttle, leaving you almost no safety margin.
