Default Coolpower

Hi Dave,

One of the main distributers (Probuild) here in the UK is refusing to warrant YS DZ engines here in the UK if Coolpower fuel is used. I believe his argument is that there is too little oil in CP 30% heli (pink). Is this true and do you guys over there apply the same ruling? I've always ran this fuel and have never had any problems with my DZ's regarding this.

Keith,

I've heard the same, though apparently due to an additive, which causes powdery, abrasive deposites that cause premature bearing and conrod failure

Regards,

Steve

BALONEY!

CP 30% heli is likely the most popular fuel used in DZ's in the USA.

What kind of fuel they suggest? I'm asking cause I'm a customer of them.

All I know is what works here. Sorry I can't help those of you outside the USA with things like this.

Thanks for the reply; it confirms everything I thought of regarding Coolpower and I for one have never had any problems with it. I'm not sure why Probuild in the UK adopt this attitude though I think its more to do with the fact that they don't distribute it than anything else.

Regards

Keith
