I have five tanks of 15 % Heli fuel through through this engine I just bought 3 weeks ago..

When do I adjust the valves/?? engine works flawlessly now ...

I know they need to be T D C on compression stroke. so do I do one valve at comp TDC and then rotate twice more then do next valve at comp stroke TDC . and >003 thous.. i might add ?????

Or do I do both valves at the same time after bringing it to TDc on the compression stroke.

Do it every 50 flights just to be safe. Set them both at .003" on the compression stroke.

I would adjust after the first gallon of fuel, then every 50 flights thereafter.

Dave: Would valve adjustment on a 1.40 have anything to do with engine going dead on throttle back coming in for landing? Fairly new engine... very low air time. Thanks Capt,n
