63FZS regulator ???

Hi Dave,
I just fired up a brand new 63FZS. What an engine and fits right in there with power that I have come to expect from all of my YS Engines from the 91AC up to the 140 Sport I own.
The problem I am having is the regulator. I've had to lean it completely to get it to run in the mid range (The adjustment screw is all the way in). If I open it just 1/16 to 1/8 turn as soon as I remove the glow ignitor the engine dies. That tells me it's way too rich and is looking for heat
Everything else is fine. Does it sound like a stuck regulator to you? I have read through a couple of pages of posts and saw where you describe how to take one apart so I can do that with no problem if you think that's what it is. I also have some 30% Heli that I can try but did not have it with me when I ran the engine the first time.
Fuel: Wildcat 20/20
Prop: MAS 13X6 soon to be an APC 13X6
Plug: Brand new OS Type F

I did as suggested and ran 30% heli and no go. The only way to get it to run is have the regulator turned in all the way and it will still load up and eventually die between just above idle and around half throttle. This happens in the air or on the ground.
This is a brand new engine with 6 9 oz tanks through it and based on the thread where Ken Bryant had basically the same issues I'm pretty certain I have the same thing.

Just an FYI. I pulled the regulator apart (learned how in another thread here) and found it sticking. I was able to work it loose and did 3 flights with it last night. It's now set about 1 1/4 turns open instead of being comletely closed with great transition and absolutely no more loading up. 2 Flights were on 30% and the last was on 20% and other than a slight power difference between the fuels no problems at all.
I will say this, this engine pulls my Cap580 40 size using a 13X6 APC with gobs of authority, takeoffs are around 1/3 to 1/2 throttle and full power climbs are just like the energizer bunny, they just keep going and going and going.
It now runs as I have come to expect from all of my YS engines
I do have just one other question. Would a 12X6 3-Blade prop work with this engine. If not what size do you recommend and which brand? I'm not worried about losing some thrust as I have plenty. I'm after looks

I'm pretty certain the reg will be fine. I know I probably killed the warranty on it since I opened it up, no big deal for me though. We are almost at the end of our flying season here (approx 3 to 6 weeks left) so I was really hesistant about sending it in.
What 3 blade dia/pitch would you recommend?

I understand. You really haven't hurt anything by taking it apart, and as long as you didn't plier the thing up or booger the screws, the guys at service would never know it's been apart.
