Default YS 140L small problems

Hi!

I bought a 104L and it run pretty good out of the box with factory settings!
Im running a 18/6w apc with cool power heli 20/20
On the ground the prop turns 8800 which is really plenty of power for my funtana 90
But in the air there is no diference in power between half and full throttle.
Schould i lean out the top end or richen it? NV is about 1 1/2 out now.
May its because the engine istn fully broken in, i only have 1 gal through it now. Someone told me that i schouldn touch the regulatoe screw until its fully broken in, is this true?
Another problem is that the engine takes about 4 sec from 3500rpm to 2000, then it would idle forever with good transition to full power!

Maybe there is a simple solution for my problem, it is my first ys engine!

Thank you in forward

Greetings from austria!

Chris

Try setting the engine per the instructions at www.ysperformance.com

Anyone who tells you not to adjust the regulator on a YS is an idiot. It is made to be adjusted at anytime during the life of the engine, and they are seldom set perfectly as they arrive from the factory.

Good Flying!
