I need a muffler for a 45FS. The one I had was custom built by a guy who had too large of a brain and a lot of high tech tools as well. It worked fabulous, but a weld failed in flight, and I lost the back half. Unfortunately the man who made it has passed on.

Suggestions? Pitts style would be nice.

Try Slimline or Bisson. They are the only ones I know of that might have a Pitts style.

No luck there unless I buy a universal one designed for smaller engines. Other suggestions? Is there a stock muffler, or is there some tuned pipe set up made by someone?

Try MACS products for a stock type setup.
