Has anyone tried measuring the charge pressure of their YS? I've had two different O-rings split on me just a little teensy weensy bit and boy you should see the fuel shoot out the side of the carb or the intake pipe!!!
Just because I'm weird it got me to thinking what kind of boost pressure they are making in that crankcase!? If I had the time I'd tap it and put a nipple in to gauge it and see....
I'm guessing more than 10 psi? Anyone?

Nope! Measured pressure on all YS engines varies from 3 to 8 psi. It depends on the engine itself. They all have different sealing characteristics hence the difference in pressures.

Wow, I saw that fuel streaming out WAY over my head and thought it would be more than that, .... now you took the fun out of me hooking up a gauge!

Yeah, I've squirted myself more times than I care to remember. Don't forget to disconnect the pressure side first, don't be dumb like me!
