Hi,
I am putting a 140L into a Funtana, and I am scratching my head over which prop to put on. I obviously want alotta thrust, but I am willing to sacrifice a bit, to get a bit of F3A performace from it too. What do you think? I had a 16x11 on a different plane, and I think that it didn't like it too much, under-proped it. So I think that something like a 17x8~9? Maybe 18? Or is it too much? But to be honest, I don't have a clue.
Thanks,
Robert.

robert,
your not the only one who will need to experiment with props on the L. ive got a 16x10 to try, plus a 17x8 apc and a 18x6 coming to try out on my edge 540.
previous owner ran 16x6 and 8 on it, and it pulled the ultra stick around quite well.
cant wait to try it. let me know how it goes for you.

Hi Ron,
I think that i will try a 17 x 8. That is what my freind says, who heard from Christophe or Sebastiano. I think that the manual says to use a 16 x 11 or more, so the 16x 10 might be a bit much. I used a 16x 11 and it was a light load for the L.
What do you think Dave?
Good luck!
Robert.
