YS61-S Needle Valve Settings
Hi Dave,
I didn't see this information in my search, and didn't see this engine on the YS website, so I'll ask here.
I have a YS61-S in a Freya helicopter. I bought this used a few years ago and haven't touched it until a couple weeks ago. It had been running before I bought it and I have no reason to think anything has changed on it. I have started it and it seems to run good (but loud), but I would like to know the needle settings so I can make sure I'm at good starting point.
I don't know if it's a I or II but it has two needle valves on one side, if that helps.
Also, I noticed fuel leaking a bit from (I think) behind the carb when I was trying prime the engine. I haven't run it long enough to see if it leaks all the time, but I wanted to run it by you. Could it be a seal that has dried up from sitting so long.
Thanks.

RE: YS61-S Needle Valve Settings
Hmmm. Sorry, Dave. I guess I didn't look as hard as I thought I did on the website and totally missed that.... not sure how since it was SO easy to find this time.
Thanks for the assist.
