Default YS 170

I recently recieved a coupon for half off a YS engine and I have a couple of questions.
1) Do you know when the 170 will be available ?
2) Will the 160 still be offered after the 170 comes out or will it be discontinued ?

1. Early summer
2. The 160 will likely be discontinued

We have some 160's now. If you want one, please get the gift certificate in to us asap.

Is the increase in displacement the only difference ?

Some internal changes as would be expected. The fuel curve changes slightly with displacement. Physically the same size as a 160.

The YS 170 is a bored out YS 160, the YS 160 is a bored out YS 140, and the YS 140 is a bored out YS 120.

So when the question is asked, how much metal is still available in the case to allow it to be "upsized" its amazing that Yamada has been able to increase the power and performance of the same Chassis over the years to the level they have done it.

And oh by the way the 120 thru the 170 all weigh about the same. The only one thats heavy is the 120AC and this is due to the big airbox and such that was added to it.
