Default ys 110 long term storage

looks like my 110 will nned to be in storafe for a year or two. I crashed, so the gas was not all burnt out.

What would the best procedure be for a few yrs storage????????

Clean the engine up with raw fuel....don't use anything other than denatured alky or raw fuel.

Then put a little oil in the carb and cam gear area and turn it over a few times to distribute the oil. The oil has to be 100% synthetic. No air tool oil or anything foolish like that. If it says 100% synthetic then use it if if don't say then it has petroleum products in it. This stuff is not to be used. Synthetic oil only.


Place it in the plastic bag that cam with the engine or a Ziplock and store it inside the house...no radical temp changes it will be fine.

Ok, rubbing alchohol on the exterior.....Can I just use synthetic 2 stroke oil, or something thinner?????

Not rubbing alcohol....This has too much water in it.

Denatured Alcohol.

You need ot use a thin oil. Mobile 1 Synthetic 0W-20 will work in small amounts.
