Default Coolpower Heli 20 same as Pro Pattern 20?

I would like to run Coolpower Pro Pattern in my ys 63 but my local hobby dealer only carries Coolpower Heli 20.
The Coolpower website says they are the same on nitro / oil / viscosity.
Is the Coolpower Heli 20 ok?
thx

The 20% heli is fine....

You don't want to run the 20% sport fuel. I don't know if the Pro-pattern and the 20% heli are the same fuel...I suspect not. Especially if the heli fuel is orangy in color. Then its the High Performance low vis oil. This is the good stuff and works very well in the YS engines.

If the 20% heli you are getting is the green color like regular CP fuels...then its probably the same oil as the Pro-pattern. I don't know for sure however.....

But the 20% heli will work.

Troy,
Thanks for the reply. One clarification though, you said the heli is high performance low vis oil, the coolpower website says heli 20 is ultra-high vis oil. see http://www.morganfuel.com/cp_blends.htm
is the heli 20 ultra high vis ok?
thx

Ok if that is the case then I think its the same oil as the pro-pattern. It will work.
It won't hurt the engine.

If you are interested in the absolute best possible fuel I have found for the engines...And this goes for all the 4 strokes...OS, YS, Saito, never ran a magnum but I bet they would like it too....

The High Performance 30% is the really good stuff.

When you say high performance I assume you mean Heli 30%, that has 22% oil and "low" vis. I don't know enough about low versus high vis, I'll have to research that.
thx

Yes the low vis 22% low viscocity oil is what is in the 30% heli High Performance. We tend to call it just the 30% heli on here.

I spoke with the folks at Morgan fuels today. He said the web page needs to be updated, the Heli 20 has the same oil mix as the heli 30 (22% low vis), thus different from the pro-pattern 20. He said it may smoke a bit more. I ran some today and after re-tune seemed ok but somehow different than the pro-pattern 20. I think I'll use up my heli 20 and go back to pro-pattern 20.
FYI

If the 20Heli is the same oil as the 30 heli...Its better in my opinion. I only run the 30 heli in my engines. I choose this mix because of the oil that is in it.

The Pro-pattern is fine the fuel with the low viscosity oil will make more power and will better protect your engine. Yes a re-tune will be required.

For what its worth. And this is my opinion in running the 30% heli for the past 7 years. Its the only fuel I use.
