A guy I fly with and I both got new 110s at the same time. Mine has been running great but he has had nothing but trouble with his. Right now, when sitting on the table for starting, fuel just runs out of the carb. He worked on the old regulator but replaced it with a new on. Same problem. He also loses his glow plug almost every flight. His engine gets hot also. Starts off plenty rich, but seems to lean out after a few minutes. He is not over propping it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had exactly the same problem...I have two YS 110 S engines..one ran well the other dripped fuel and did not run well in the mid range. ... I sent the bad one back to YS (Rich V) he said the plunger was sticking in the regulator & replaced same. However, I have not been able to run it since the repair.

It's the new 110, S I believe. He replaced the entire regulator with a new one and has the same problem. Fuel dripping out of the carb. I think it has to be something sticking in the regulator because it is not shutting down the flow of fuel from the tank. Bad luck I guess if you have two regulators with a problem.
