Default low speed needle closed = cw or ccw???

this may be the all time stupid question but here goes....

on the low speed adjustment it says to open the low speed needle 1 turn from fully closed.

because lean is counterclockwise (ccw), is all the way ccw closed? then go 1 turn clockwise (cw)?

thx

The low speed needle onthe YS engines is an airbleed so it is reversed from "normal" CCW will lean the mixture and CW will richen so close the needle fully CW and take it CCW out one turn.

thanks!
I'm struggling with tuning the low end and have to eliminate 1 variable at a time!

What size engine do you have? There's a known issue with some of the 140 Sport engines where a hole in the carburator barrel was not drilled correctly from the factory. They're drilled too small. If that's your engine, could be your problem.
