Default reg. on new 100S

New from the box YS 110S would flood at idle. Found piece on plastic in the regulator top half. So much for quality assurance. Anyone know how to get the two regulator halves apart without damage? They are more than hand tight.

gently pry apart with a screw driver....that's what I've used on the .63's.

Doesn't look like it to me. You could always try twisting them to see if they are threaded, if they are they should break loose pretty easily, but I think wessco's right. It looks like they are just pressed together. Pad any tool you use, like a pair of pliers, so you don't mar the part.
