I have an opportunity to pick up a NIB YS140FZ. Is there a particular serial number range that was susceptible to piston rock? What would a new piston cost if I ended up with one of the smaller sidewall series?

The FZ 140's never really had much of a problem with this. There are no serial numbers on these engines.
If it's a good price, buy it!
