Hi,
Since i installed the hyde mount for my YS-110 i can't start it normally anymore... immediately after applying the starter the
headlock plug is fly away.. what kind of headlock do you recommand to use ?
i think that my local supplier usually have dubro or sollivan equipment.
Thanks,

I use a sullivan headlock on my Radio South Pro-Driver. My buddies use the same headlock on their R-Cats glo-drivers. Most of the twist-lock types should work (as long as they're not worn-out). We're using these on DZ engines on hyde mounts, so they should work on the 110. Just make sure you have room on the cowl for the lock not to hit it. Also, the drivers with the battery dirctly attached to the headlock won't work too well. I wish I still had my old one so I could take a picture as an example of what a YS can do to them. Another problem I have seen people have is when they use a headlock that is too long. The longer ones put too much stress on the lock itself and they wear out quickly. I'd also stay away from the Du-Bro thumb-press types. These could easily have the same issue as the longer ones and the ones with the battery directly attached.
