YS operating temperature

Dave,
using a Raytek gun, what should be the temperature you should read when warm? i.e. operating on the ground at full throttle for at least one minute, laser pointing at the ..... the temperature should be less than .....
Florida is getting very warm and I'm not sure if the problem I'm having with my YS63 and 110 are related to heat or something else. The cowling is largely open, added a lip at the exit to increase the airflow, don't know what to do more.
