Cleaning a dirty YS
My YS170DZ got dirty when I landed in the weeds and my plane flipped over. I saw some dirt on the throttle barrel, so I probably need to remove the carburetor body and flush it out.
Can anyone recommend a good spray cleaner that will not attack the non-metal parts, or do I need to tear it down completely and clean the metal parts in a solvent like kerosene? Thanks.

Another good product that can be used is INOX, don't know if it is available in the U.S. or not, but is in Australia.
Its the greatest thing since sliced bread, I use it exclusive in my YS engines when I rebuild them or store them.
I just googled INOX and it is available in the U.S., try it and you will be convinced.

Thanks guys. I assume that Isopropyl Alcohol will work as a cleaner. I usually get the 91% kind from the Pharmacy. XMANS, I could not find a good source of the INOX Spray Lubricant close to where I am located. I have some Ultra Oil from Performance Specialties to use for lubrication.
