Hey Dave,
Just wanted to let you know that with an APC 18x8W, at 6000 Feet above sea level, The 1.40 DZ will hover my plane at half throttle! Wow, what an engine. I did find that the valve clearances were way off, so please check after break in. Thanks for all the help.

On 20% nitro, I like the standard APC 18 x 8. Also hovers at half throttle but has no braking effect on landings. I will switch to 30% nitro and change that propellor to a wide. Maybe that will help on landings...
