Hello,
Is there any preference towards the oil used with the gas ?
Amsoil is not available in my country.
Are garden/chainsaw oils etc just as suitable ?

Dear Sir, You must use an oil, preferably a synthetic that can be mixed to the ratio required. It also must be suited for air-cooled 2 cycle engines. A good 2 cycle motorcycle racing synthetic oil is often used.

You might check the motorcycle shops for the brand name Bel-Ray. They have been producing racing oils etc for years. Look for Bel-Ray, Si-7 Synthetic, 2-Stroke Oil. It is recommended at 50:1 when used as a premix formula. Like Mike above said, make sure it is for air cooled engines. Some people try to use oils intended for 2 cycle water cooled engines and that is not usually a good ideal.
You might also go to Amsoils web-site and look into ordering direct from them or becoming a small dealer in your area for their products. They have based most of their marketing off of small dealers working out of their homes. Their web-site will explain what I am talking about.
Good Luck Gary

We recommend that ZDZ/RCS engines be used at a minimum of 2.56oz/gallon(50:1). Any fuel mix with a lower oil content(51:1 and above) we simply DO NOT recommend and will have the potential for engine damage.

Yes. They can be mixed at what ever level you need. The oil manufactures usually state how much to mix to get the 50 or 80 to 1 mix that you need.I hope this helps.
