Hi, I'm thinking of buying a used ZDZ 80B2 old style with the removable front hub assembly and I was wondering if the old style engines are good engines. It has the Falcon ignition. Can you still get parts for the older engines?

As long as the engine hasn't been abused, has good compression, it should be ok. Here in Europe, there are many places where we can still get parts for the older engines. I have an old 80RV (single) that runs like a top. You might check with RCShowcase to see about updating the ignition to a newer one which will handle the higher voltage of the Lipos. Makes it kind'a nice when you can go an entire weekend without having to recharge the battery.
