Go to the Horizon Hobby website and call up Seagull Texan. The manual's available in the info on the airplane. Saw it (from a distance) at Toledo, as they had it mounted out of reach. So beyond the fact that it looks good from 15 feet or so, I really don't know much about it.

RE: New AT6 TEXAN from SEAGULL ?
I got one, I am modifying it to put a g-26 in it.
I ran into a problem with the hole for the wing tube, but I can fix that, I believe.
I ordered the retracts from Horizon to fit it, they are on back order. This thing is pretty light, so no flaps shouldn't be too much of a problem, my opinion.

I agree w/ you about the flaps, Bingo.
What retracts does Horizon recommend for this airplane?
Thanks
Al

These are the retracts I ordered. I may be able to get some pictures later on, I am on call right now for the week, and time is short on my side. One thing I can say is the wingspan is quite impressive when you put all three panels together. I like it!

RE: New AT6 TEXAN from SEAGULL ?
Which plane are you all refering too? The link that Kostas1 started the thread with is for a 40 size AT-6. Surely you must be joking or talking about a different plane when stating that you are putting a 1.20AX or a G-26 in it. The 1.20 size on Horizons site does look nice but, I noticed in the manual that the elvator and rudder servos are placed clear in front of the firewall with the engine. I thought that seemed like a long way to run connections of any type clear back too the other end of the plane. How are they working out?

RE: New AT6 TEXAN from SEAGULL ?
It takes cutting off the boxes pre mounted up front for the servos to make room for the G26. I mounted the 2 elevator servos and the rudder servo back in the middle of the fuse. I had to build a mount for them to accomodate the pre run pushrods, but that wasn't too bad. I will include some pictures when I get a chance, I am working a lot of hours this weekend, and don't have time to work with it right now. The biggest hassle was the wing joiner tube. The pilot hole on one wing was off by a small amount, and when I drilled the hole, it went through nothing but skin. I have cut open the wing and found where the hole needed to be, and fixed the messed up area of sheeting, it didn't take long.
Yes, this is the 120 size.

If anyone is interested, I can start taking some pictures of what I have done on the 120 size. It may be more appropriate in another thread, just for it?
