GUESS WHAT?? NO REFUND. This company is an embarrassment to good businesses in our hobby and no amount of "well my experience was great" can make up for shoddy customer service. It's EASY when things go right. The real test of a company is what they do when stuff goes wrong. HOBBY KING FAILS miserably and I can only attribute this to a policy of delay handed down by Anthony from the top. I'm sure he instructs his minions to withhold refunds for as long as possible.

Old Chinese proverb say; fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. THEY ARE WHAT THEY ARE. Never wait more than 30 days for your money back. The first words out of my keyboard are I am contacting paypal now, if this is not refunded immediately. Works everytime.

Given your experience I don't see how they can survive because you know if they did it to you they did it to a hundred others who didn't say anything.

I just hope that anyone who is contemplating ordering anything from they will see your post and all of the others who got ripped off by Hobby King before they make that decision. If nothing else at least people will understand the importance of using PayPal if they do order anything from Hobby King.

Raptureboy is 100% correct....................never let the 30 day Paypal lapse. I put a book mark on my computers calendar a few days before the time limit........ just for cases like this. No exceptions!!!!!!!!!! for HK or any other purchase for that matter.

You are stomping on the bridge. Expect the dwellers to come out any second now with "I have over xxxx orders with HK with no problems at all" , "Their CS is great", "Their stuff is great", blah, blah, blah, etc....etc....

HK customer service will keep you in this dog /tail chase routine until you get tired of it and go away. That's their goal.

Funny, I'm getting the same run a round from HobbyPartz concerning a bad battery. The tend to hide behind the language/culture barrier thing...

I really think that is the way Asian companies do business. Hobbs King is certainly not unique in that respect, they're just better at giving customers the run around.

I have purchased many items and never had a problem.Very good luck with Lipos and electric motors. Also have purchased a lot of hardware including 2 planes, retro JR and Pioneer. Is this an example of not hearing from the large percent of us that are satisfied?People that tend to be complainers are more vocal in these threads

Also take a look at how you treat those in customer service. Be respectful. Treating those poorly my be creating more problems for you!

Here's an update: I have contacted their rep on RCG and spoken with 3 more reps....EVERYONE says that HK refunded my money and to "check my PayPal account" and every time I do there is NOTHING there from HK. I told them that it takes me 30 seconds to pay someone on Paypal and asked why they can't do that. No replies to that question, just a suggestion that I contact PayPal. It's really infuriating to get horsed around. This is clearly a policy set from the top.

I would not scream as I am not a little girl. I would contact Paypal and have them handle it befor the 45 days are passed.I would not start a Thread and cry. In reply to #13

OK, I don't know how PayPal works. They screwed me and I cancelled my account. I mean PayPal screwed me, not HobbyKing - I've never ordered from them.

But Chris is telling you to file a dispute. You are saying it is too late. Chris says they contacted PayPal about it already. Have you contacted PayPal to see if that's true? Maybe this case is an exception to their 45-day rule? Again, I don't know anything about how this works. I'm just asking.

Their "reps" are probably just regular forum users being compensated by HK to promote the home team and repeat the same dialog and continue the runaround for those having issues .
I didn't see but did you use a CC to fund paypal on the original purchase or was it funded by a PP balance.? If a CC you can contact the CC company even though the 45 day PP time limit has expired.
