Before you plunk down your money .... you might want to read about them in the threads here (Clubhouse ) on RCU . Personally I've never ordered from them, but alot of people that have done business with them have been left with a bad taste in their mouth, and expressed so in print. Read first then decide if you want to try your luck. Just my two cents worth.

Interesting indeed. I met a pilot at the field last week and he told me he only buy the frame from BH and that sounds like the way to go. I guess the electronics are the problem with them...I will never know for sure because I am never buying a full plane from them because it sounds too risky.

Preparation for the celebration got into full swing. Thanks to Dan Zilliak, Ben Elkouby, Gary Stevens, Chuck Thompson, and all who worked hard to bring this day together.

Bob Tarlau was the announcer for the day, and the honor of turning on the new charging system was given to Willy Gardner for all his hard work.

Unfortunately, the Night fly at the field this Saturday has been cancelled. Parks & Recs has told us that they will not issue a permit for an after dark event at this time.

RE: Sepulveda Basin
Just a note to let the local guys know that we have Tam's Strut upgrade for the E-flite 15-25 retracts (HABU 32 !!) coming in this week.
We will also be supplying MEGA 6s and 8s motors to fit the stock E-flite 80mm EDF. The 6s motor isa slightly hotter kv than the E-flite motor. but the resistance is less and the motor is longer (cooler operation)
You can save some $ by picking up locally in Valencia, or when I come down to the basin.
We have a HABU and two fan units for testing.
Thanks, Gary

RE: Sepulveda Basin
Thanks Billy.
I just ordered a couple of MEGAsfor the 8s setup. I'm offering the motor for the stock fan, as a lower cost option for more speed. The other currently available 80mmoption is $550 for a fan and motor. (very nice, just lots of $)Once the Habu airframe shows up here, well look at the possibility of fitting a larger fan unit as another option.
