Problems connecting to rc universe !
 

I have been having a serious problem trying to connect ( log on ) to the rcuniverse web site . It has taken me approx. 2 1/2 Months to get on and this evening it was a surprise to me that I was able to get connected. I was wondering if any other members have and any problems connecting and what if anything they were able to do to solve the problem ????? My service provider said every thing was o.k. on my computer and that I needed to contact r c universe to help with the problem BUT I could not connect and the problem would not clear up.. I am really puzzled as to why I could not connect and why I am able to connect now ?? I really enjoy the site and I hope I will not have any problems in the futre as I wanted to look over the sale ads and post a few items as well.

I never had a problem logging onto the forums, also I havent had issues posting, but I also only use the quick reply at the bottom

Did you try from just one computer and one location? If so, it could be the computer, or it could also be a DNS issue with your provider.

My PC was doing the same thing! RCU still has a bunch of bug's but I think they are working on it:eek: It is operating a lot better than it has in years but not for all people' too bad[:@] and I have not done a thing to my computer:eek: nothing wrong with it:D

With my normal ISP browser (Almost OnLine) it takes me forever to get in here, wait for a thread to load, post a reply, upload a picture, etc. I installed Google Chrome and it made a huge difference using that as my default browser. The only forum sites that I have any problems like this are oddly enough, owned by Internet Brands also.

Things were terrible for a few months, then got faily good, but last couple months, I have little problem with several forums but then I simply stay cut off of the Beginner's forum.
I only use about 5 forums to any extent, and the Beginners was one, but now it's almost impossible to get on there.

I try to cut off all the advertisements running up and down the side bars, but if gone for a couple days, they get right back on. I have absolutely no need for any ads, videos, or such stuff. Leave that to you youngsters> HA!

IMO, RCU may not be going down, but it is definitely NOT improving. [:o]

Fun In The Sun, I don't care what the RCU shills say. Things are NOT GETTING BETTER!! I use multiple computers, Chrome, IE, etc andthey all suck when trying to work with RCUniverse. As long as these problems have been going on, it is obvious that the owners of RCU really don't care about their day to day customers. Flame Suit On to ward off the RCU shills....

Is there such a thing :eek: as being able to put a filter on some members. Just a thought , RCU has turned to crap for me again. Some times it works great then all at once it goes to hell[:@]

It seems to always be something not working or not working right. It becomes tiresome after a while and I am about to take it out of my bookmarks/favorites

Links in my e-mails to threads I'm subscribed to rarely work either. I get that "Did you mean RC Universe?" a lot.

The notifications for keywords in the marketplace don't work for me and have not for sometime. It was a great site for selling but it has really gone downhill
