That’s a beautiful Waco you have. Big and beautiful.

When I got home from flying the Waco last I found the bottom wing had cracked where the repairs were made maybe a hard landing maybe?? What ever the case the wings were taken off and new wings will be built. I have started making new patters moving the front spar forward to its proper location. I’m actually looking forward building the new wings.

The link you have does not work. I just tried this one http://www.fibertechnmore.com/store/ and it does work. The Waco cowls and wheel pants for the Pica Waco Kits (1/6th (only UMF) and 1/5th) are at the bottom of the Pica section with the 1/5th UMF and YMF Cowls at the top of page 2.

All,

I have all the ribs cut for the bottom wing except the last two I will cut them when I get the bow tips installed. I’m trying something different this time I trimmed down the ribs 3/32 and will cap strip the top & bottom don’t know why just made cutting the ribs easer I also moved the front spar forward to it’s proper location.

I’m a little concerned that I may have weakened the wing by moving the spars forward they are only ¾ back from the front of the rib. I’d like to hear what you think about this before I continue.

Thanks MRDHUD, I am finishing a 1/3 scale sopwith pup at the moment, I am looking forward to start on this beautiful aircraft.
They not only look good but they fly fantastic.
I believe it is the best all around aircraft, especially when you put a radial in one.

Hit the NEXT button at the bottom of the Pica Page. The UMF (P-914U - $ 53.94) and YMF (P-914Y - $ 57.95) Cowls are at the top of page 2.

You will know you are at the correct site if the colors are Black and Red with the name FIBERTECH N MORE in Silver and a listing of Catagories down the left side.
