Hay Pete

Thats a great looking beach, and has to be good for skim boarding among outher things. A bit of history I grew up on the left cost ie: San Dirgo had power and sail boats then moved to the hi country 10,000 ft for a few years and then to fly over land (MN) and I have to admit I don't miss the left coast as it is not the same to meany free loaders and such.
Now to talk about flat land you have to see North Dacota if you lucky there may be a 100 ft change in elavation except for a 300 ft bump just about in the middle, big rock pile.

Enough of my dribble

Filaly getting out in the shop to check out the birds for the up comming season

I thought that Dakota was wild mountainous indian country , you know Take me back to the black hils etc.
Please explain what you mean by the left coast i have no idea what that means , we call them the east coast and west coast
.
You would love the beaches here except when some clown runs into a rock and spills a couple of thousand tons of black oil all over the place .
Cheers

Hi Bob,
yeah i remember you said you came from that part of the country. Mate I could not live in the middle of no where, drive me nuts. I dont feel grounded unless I can plant my feet in the surf someplace. That beach is about an hour North, little spot called Mooloolaba. Further North around Coolum them are some stunning surf beaches, pretty much unspoilt.

Glad you are getting back into it.
Cheers
Peter

GSK / Graeme

Left coast is just slang for the west coast, eastern part of South Dakota has the black hills ware Mt. Rushmore and the comming statue of crazy Horse is, but N/D is FLAT. that whole area was once the land of the Souix indians. There is abit of low land whare the Mo/river cuts thru with the water that comes from montana.

When if I ever win the loto the first places I would travel is down your way meaning OZ and New Zealand as I have read a coupla of history book on both and vary impressed

like that here too. Brisbane is no longer a big country town but infrastructure, roads especially have not kept pace.

Poiliticians are part of the problem, not solution. We have our QLD state elections in March and I'm hoping nana bligh and her cast of merry idiots get the boot. We have had too many years of labor here. Time for a change.

at least we did not get 10 years of Helen Clarke!!

Her are some of the latest pix of "Have Some"! I just finished getting the wing set up. Ailerons and flaps are now glued and set up with servos. The linkages turned out sweet - no slop whatsoever. Now to work on mounting the Dummy Radial, exhaust waste gates and canopy. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Pete, if you have a scan of the nomenclature locator, I sure would appreciate a copy. Thanks a bunch! email: [email protected]

Hey Peter, getting close to finishing the Zero now but almost lost her, had a good storm roll through, lots of lightning very little rain set fire to the bush all around us (surrounded like the injains ) & had to evacuate.
Not that you guys over there would hear about little old Pannawonica, good news is the Zero survived !!..Oh family is good too !!.
Moved that quick that I only managed to get three photos.
Steff.

some of these are not correct. For example the flaps degrees decals is actually on the flaps themselves inboard so the pilot can see them. As the flap rotates down it reveals the proprtionate amount of the decal to reval how many degrees of flap are deployed.

You might look into a 1/48 scale plastic kit as they have great detaile info.

Just a thought

Thanks Ram Bro! I used an old MGApilot - fits well. I think any 12 inch figure will work adequately.
