Expensive package ??
I bought Raven 62" balsa wood kit (new) for $275. The person i bought it from included with the package (new) Thunder tiger .45 nitro engine and 4 standard servos, JR Quattro radio with transmitter, fuel tank, batteries for the radio and for the servos and a charger. So i wanted to ask if for $275 the package considered expensive or it was a good deal? The kit is not assembled, i have to buy glue and stuff and assembly the kit also i have to buy propeller and glow plug and glow starter.

Depends, is this the one by Global Hobby?.....'cause I can tell you, you will not get it off the ground on a .45. That is at a minimum a .61+ model, mine had an OS 1.08 FSR. Flew ok, felt heavy. Bad quality wood.
Looked pretty in the air.
Tell you what, if it comes with a can of Tomato Basil Soup.....it's a good deal. Make sure it is Campbell's Hearvest Select.

That sounds like an ok deal to me. Reading this reminds me how simple the hobby use to be.
For me that is.. Now I pay that just for wheels and brakes. lol
Have fun with it. They fly good. I had a couple.

Yeah, the $5.99 soup is currious. It had to come with at least some crackers or maybe a baugette. I think the "Soup of the Day" forum could gain some traction on slow days anyway..

I am just wondering about the $5.99 soup. Did that come with a sandwich? You cant just have soup, especially for 5.99. Atleast some crackers? They should start a ''soup'' forum around here.
