I just paid US$5.99 for a cup of tomato bisque that tasted too "chickeny".

Depends, is this the one by Global Hobby?.....'cause I can tell you, you will not get it off the ground on a .45. That is at a minimum a .61+ model, mine had an OS 1.08 FSR. Flew ok, felt heavy. Bad quality wood.
Looked pretty in the air.

Tell you what, if it comes with a can of Tomato Basil Soup.....it's a good deal. Make sure it is Campbell's Hearvest Select.

That's funny, the other day I bought some chicken soup and it tasted a lot like tomato bisque but didn't pay anywhere near $5.99

That sounds like an ok deal to me. Reading this reminds me how simple the hobby use to be.

For me that is.. Now I pay that just for wheels and brakes. lol

Have fun with it. They fly good. I had a couple.

I am just wondering about the $5.99 soup. Did that come with a sandwich? You cant just have soup, especially for 5.99. Atleast some crackers? They should start a "soup" forum around here.

Yeah, the $5.99 soup is currious. It had to come with at least some crackers or maybe a baugette. I think the "Soup of the Day" forum could gain some traction on slow days anyway..

The tomato bisque soup had meat (chicken) in it hence the $5.99 price tag

No chicken, it said it tasted CHICKENY. Look it up.

Today's US$4.99 Roast Beef and Halvarti baguette was spot on, thank you very much.

If you didn't get the soup, or at least a glass of soda, then you should go back and ask for a newspaper and a coupon for Earl Grey tea. Buying a propeller is a good idea too. You could use it to whip the tomato soup in case it tastes like chicken. That alone could save you $5.99
